Pembrokeshire has the most wonderful skies and an extremely varied weather pattern. The clouds tumbling over Dinas Head in the west were the inspiration for this painting . I kept the boats in the foreground deliberately muted and painted it in a portrait style, so that the eye is drawn to the billowing clouds overhead.
