Framing

Original Paintings

Below is an image of the frame that I use for my originals. It’s an aluminium frame, 1 inch across its “face”, (the front that you see) and three quarters of an inch deep. It’s matt, not shiny and has a slightly brushed finish. I generally use this profile in a light silver grey and occasionally in a darker grey. A black colour is also available and it can look very good with the more monochrome paintings. Please contact me if you’d like to check which colour the painting is in, or would like to choose your own colour. I usually use a double mount, with a white inner mount and a very slight off white for the outer.

The prices and sizes quoted for the paintings include mounts, backing board, frame and glass. They are strung and ready to hang on the wall. You are welcome to collect paintings from my Gallery in Nevern.

If you’d like your painting posted to you, the glass is removed from the frame. I can’t send glass in the post. You will need to reglaze the painting before hanging. I send instructions, including the size of glass needed, if you’d like to do this yourself . Or, you can take it to a Framer, who should easily be able to do this for you.

You are welcome to buy the original paintings unframed, if you’d prefer. Please contact me for a revised price.

Prints

Prints are available framed or unframed. All the prints come with a mount and backboard.

Below is an image of the frame that I use for my prints. It’s “face” is a quarter of an inch wide, and it’s depth is three quarters of an inch. It’s a mid grey colour, with a brushed finish.

Framed prints, with mount and glass, ready to hang (and also unframed prints) are available for collection from my Gallery in Nevern.

I usually post prints unframed, in a mount and with a backboard, so that they are ready to go straight into a frame when you receive them. If you would like a framed print sent to you, please contact me for a revised price.

Please note that I can’t send glass in the post. All my work is carefully wrapped for posting and is fully insured.
