I grew up on a farm on Morfa Head. I love it’s contours and the colour changes the vegetation goes through over the seasons, the grass often burnt off by the wind and sun. This painting is from Newport beach, looking over to the headland in very early spring. The clouds out in Cardigan Bay are busily blowing in on a strong westerly, but the sea is relatively calm.
