A view from the Marine Walk in Fishguard, looking back towards Lower Town and it’s pretty harbour. It was late spring, early summer and the trees and fields were already in their summer green splendour, the bay a jewel like turquoise. I used pastel on the background, to describe the texture of the trees in full leaf and pick up some of the colours in the sea.
