A view from Marine Walk in Fishguard, looking back towards Lower Town and it’s pretty harbour. It was late spring / early summer and the trees and fields were already in their summer green splendour, the bay a jewel-like turquoise. I used pastel on the background, to describe the texture of the trees in full leaf and pick up some of the colours in the sea.
